The M1 is an established operational motorway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, but proposed alternatives must be assessed section by section. Current Department of Transport and Main Roads information identifies Coomera Connector Stage 1 North, between Shipper Drive and Helensvale Road, as open to traffic.
