A bedroom count or short item count can be a useful starting point, but it does not show the complete moving requirement. Two homes with the same number of bedrooms may contain very different amounts of furniture, appliances, boxes and stored belongings.
Access can also change the work involved. Stairs, lift bookings, narrow hallways, parking distance and extra collection points may affect the time, handling and moving arrangement even when the load itself is small.

Tell us about stairs, lifts, loading areas, narrow doors, hallways, tight turns and driveway conditions at both ends. The complete carrying path can affect the work even when only a few items are moving.
Parking and Carrying Distance
Where the truck can be positioned matters. Parking restrictions, long paths, corridors, basements and the distance between the property and truck can increase the handling required.

Why isn’t bedroom count enough for an accurate removalist quote?
Bedroom count does not show the actual furniture volume, number of boxes, appliances, stored belongings or the size of individual items. It also does not show stairs, lift access, parking or carrying distance. A complete inventory and access description provide a more useful basis for assessment.
Which job details can change the quoted price?
Added items, changed locations, extra stops, different access conditions, additional preparation, waiting time or work outside the agreed scope may affect the price. A fixed-price quote should not be presented as arbitrarily changeable where the original information and agreed scope remain accurate and unchanged.
Is a fixed-price request calculated automatically?
No. The website does not calculate or display an automatic fixed price. Your submitted moving details are reviewed by the team, clarification may be requested, and the quote may then be provided by phone or email.
